How many can you relate to from your high school days? #4 is so true.

1. High school years, having your first crush, bitten by the love-bug! Your world pretty much started and ended with the person..dreaming about the next time you are going to catch up.

2. From the same high school diaries, your spirit of competitiveness was born, going to any length in achieving your ultimate goals irrespective of others. Period. Don’t that literally here ofcourse!

3. The high school house parties, making all sorts of excuses just to attend one of these was the single agenda for the weekend!

4. You end up making all sorts of excuses at home for that one night of party and giving up all future night outs for it. So you say..

5. Did you ever feel, you were the teachers target each time there was a problem-solving session on the blackboard in front of the whole class!

6. Did you ever have that perfect date but nothing went as you planned it, consequently a total disaster of a night!

The advancement of technology, electronics has led to development of newer gadgets, equipment for a wide spectrum for both commercial and non-commercial use. More specifically, small compact electronic chips, diodes has led to development of highly integrated electronic circuits used for the new generation devices such as computers, smart phones, tablets, sound systems and other gadgets. This development has led to the growth of a new generation sound and entertainment systems that includes MP3 players, home theater systems, wireless speakers, sound bar and more.

Regarding sound listening experience, the source of the sound can be any but it is the speakers that make the experience pleasant, complete. The speaker is the device in which electrical signal from the source is converted in to audible signal to be reproduced around the device. Generally, larger the power of the speaker larger is the range it can be heard but this does not always holds for subwoofer. Speaker systems differ not only in their power, technology but other ways such as wireless or wired.

The wired speaker system have been in use for a very long time, the typical arrangement would be to attach all the speakers to the sound source and place at different positions for the best audio experience. The arrangement had advantages and disadvantages, the enhanced sound listening experience but also the clutter of the cable that is spread around the room. The wireless speakers are a leap to overcome the disadvantages of wired speakers and also advancement in technology.

Wireless speakers are available in large number of configurations, sizes, prices to choose from. The need, use, space, price varies for all and hence a large range is available. Typically, wireless speakers that are advanced in technology have a subwoofer and satellite speakers. The subwoofer comes in the latest sound systems, which is meant to reproduce very low bass frequencies.

Most television sets come with tinny built-in speakers, which is not enough to complement the picture quality that a HDV or television sets with new technologies. To enhance the audio for the TV, either a surround sound system or sound bars are good options to choose from. While the surround sound is the best option but is an expensive affair, the sound bar works both ways good in quality and not high in price. For most purpose, sound bar is the best choice but the device has quite a few real-world, practical problems that must be looked in to before making a choice.

One of the first things to have in mind while selecting a sound bar is the size, ideally the sound bar should be placed under the TV. The right “sound bar” can enhance the sound of TV shows, movies, and any other audible content whole lot more. The right measurement of the space between the TV and the TV stand, and the depth of the TV stand has to be done before making the selection that would fit in right in the space. If the sound bar is not placed right, it may obstruct the TV’s remote sensor. The other things to consider while selecting a sound bar is it may not come with a remote, ‘virtual sound’ that most sound bar produces is not useless but not close to surround sound, it may or may not have visual display, HDMI connectivity may not always be present.

The bloggers meet up eventually started with an Indian standard time delay (chuckle) with an ice-breaking activity using ‘music genre,’ where each individual blogger had to describe another according to the music genres displayed on the projector. Idea was to break the ice between the bloggers and really get engaged with the brand and its forthcoming activities for the day.

The next couple of activities were more engaging for the bloggers namely the rapid fire questions based on music , movies and the QR-code hunt, which really set the room on fire with two teams hunting aggressively for the maximum QR-codes within the venue and a stipulated time given for the task! Unfortunately for one team, the winning team strategically collected all the codes first, hence after scanning all to get the maximum answers. Nice work!

The day ended with an hour of reviews of the products at display, interaction with the brand’s representatives, some snacks, an autograph book to give in the feedback to the brand by all and eventually the awards ceremony which left no one empty handed:)
